Thanks Lindsey - the diamond dust is courtesy of the Cym. erythrostylum parent, which is a beauty in its own right (mine skipped flowering this year, unfortunately!).

I forgot to say congrats on the Bulbo named after you - looks good and well photographed, too!

What a gorgeous Cym!! I love it! Lovey dubby

Gina @Gina1960, one might see your Acianthera on branches/in trees in nature. Somehow my mind sees it mounted. It should do very well in your Jungle! Thumbs up

Lovely Cym, Joshua. I am amazed at the color, and all that diamond dust.

I have one of my little terete Vandas blooming! They have been in their 'winter home' in front of the shop all this time and though it's sunny there in winter, it's quite shady most of the day now, so I'm gratified that this one has made the effort. Some of these are completely wrapped up and engulfed with weeds. There may be more flowers . . . we shall see.

Another of the V. Josephine van Brero crosses but once again the tags are nowhere to be seen. There are 3 mounted vertically on a bamboo pole here, another with a gold flower is about to open, too!

Do you have a hand held 'hole punch'
Elaine?
In my Orchid Classes I use to suggest to beginners, and PROS like you, to punch a hole in a vinyl tag. This is easy to do when they are pliable, when they get stiff, drill a hole in them. Then use twist tie or something similar to attach the tag to the orchid!!
I think that that is a cool solution.

Gina, I think you have one of these.

Thumb of 2020-06-06/sugarcane/828c3f

Bulb. tingabarinum...might also be more properly called Bulb pectin-veneris.
It's a relatively new plant for me and is blooming for the first time. I keep waiting for
something more to happen at the top of the flower. Is this all it does?...or am I just being impatient?

They should open and be a cute little flower with petals coming forward with little thread like hairs. The flowers seems to be like the hoods with a little face inside.

But those are the flowers. They just happen to be 90% sepals. So many of them are! But they will open further.
