Man, when you look at them close up it looks like a bunch of little orange aliens!!

I've always thought most of those Bulbo flowers look like little sea creatures. Big teeth on that one!

Oh yeah, a lot of those Bulbos smell like rotting flesh. Really bad.

That's the reason I don't grow them, just enjoy seeing the flowers in pictures here.

I've read that the red ones do smell bad, but the other colors don't. I've never grown them, so I don't know if that's true.

Color has nothing to do with it.

My little terete Vandas have another bloom open today, a pink! The other mounts of these all have at least some tags left, but they're all gone off this one, naturally. Crosses of V. Josephine van Brero or V. Dr. Anek mostly.


The purple stepsisters are sticking their tongues out at the new baby.

I'm finding tags missing too...with no squirrels to blame. Those plastic tags only last so long before they disintegrate.
