Allison,

Good to hear you're ok. Hurray! Group hug Thumbs up

How are you able to post if you don't have power? Confused I'm all ears!

You're up early. I couldn't sleep, so that's why I'm here. Whistling

Kristi.. we're just fine... they gave me my cable /internet back.. we've got power and all across the river here in brooklyn... and I'm the highest land for 10 blocks around... so we're dry... I haven't been up to the garden yet... there was a bushel of wind up there... and shredded most of the brugs.. and whatever else I had left up there...yesterday .. bafore the big winds hit a maple tree was ripped off the lift where it had been tied... guess the shaking /wiggleing had cut through the ropes holding it... but the pot.. a 1/3 of a plastic 55 gal drum ..the tree just slid off it's 2 ft tall lift softly [ ? ] onto the roof... I havent been up for the mornings pictures.. but I don't expect much from the taller standing plants.. pictures at 10 am .. these are yesterday afternoons pictures.. before the big winds really started.about 6 pm.. and went through about 3 am....Thumb of 2012-10-30/GordonHawk/486452

Still no power .. Going to be a while its mess out there.. Said and done it took us 6 hours to find a station open with fuel and get back home .. Three and a half hours just waiting in line .. So we have the generator going and some eggs and bread we picked up ... All the traffic signals are out .. If you ever drove in north jersey you know it's nuts in normal conditions .. Almost sucidal out there with power lines and trees down and nuts on the roads.. Posting from my iPhone ... Hope the gas stations get back up and running soon

I'm relieved and happy to see our ATP friends and family popping up and popping in. We've all been concerned. I know many of you are cold and frustrated in the dark. But the rest of us are just happy to know you're alive and well.
