He definitely didn't deserve it!

Gypsy, not only is DG devoid of heart and soul now that Dave and Trish are gone, but it's also no fun now that you and I are gone. Hilarious!

No, it's Sherry. I call her "Gypsy" because her screen name is wcgypsy. If you knew her, you'd call her Gypsy too. Green Grin!

OK I may as well post this here, what better thread...so my most embarrassing ATP moment thus far is that I post photos of some of my mini plants (I think I have 3) in the Miniature garden forum, not having any idea what that was, and not taking the time to look first...so, anyway, the forum has nothing to do with miniature plants, its mini gardens, you know little fairy landscapes, which is cute enough just not the same thing Hilarious!

Well, that's because as I've gotten older, I've accepted the fact that I don't know everything and in fact, could be wrong. I'm absolutely certain that in younger years, I was always right, but now? Well......... I could be wrong.

That is funny about the mini plants, Greg, but aren't those the very plants they should be planting in their fairy gardens?

wcgypsy said:Suffice it to say that Dave and Trish were the heart and soul of DG and with them gone? Don't know... but we're lucky that he created ATP for us. I feel good about belonging to a site that is owned by honest, ethical, caring, involved people as opposed to.......

Just now got to the party. Well said Sherri and Zuzu.
I was one that left and moved to Cubits, then here when ATP started up. This is like a family, from the top to the bottom. Lovey dubby

I'm alright with Pacific Northwest Gardening. I have finally adjusted the the two names. I still on occasion like to drop into visit the California bunch. They are a wonderful, talented and friendly bunch.
After all they are all in the state I grew up in. Big Grin

Greg when you go through the threads on the Miniature Gardens Forum you will see photos of just the miniature plants some times. Great way for people to see what else is out there for their tiny gardens. Hurray!

I got Warm Summer Envy every time I dropped into the "California Forum".

I would read about someone starting something and get all excited ... then jealous.

Like when I used to read threads about gardening in USDA Zone 8a - then finding out it was "8a" in Texas! Rather different climates!

I know what the maps say but don't, believe we are zone 8 here for one minute. Every zone 8 plant I have planted dies when we get a cold winter. Maybe Seattle on a good year. We have not gotten a really cold winter for awhile but, it will come one year. When we get a week of arctic air from Canada "Arctic Express" the zone 8 plans are history.

On the bright side we all love to buy plants so we will have some wholes to fill. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
