@Diggerofdirt: "On paper" it is a beauty. Real life, nobody has any evidence one way or the other.
But the creator is known for being upstanding. And I adore that he has OCD about everything, like I do. His bar for perfection is so high compared to anyone else in the business. I would say his one Achilles heel is the lack of dormant daylilies in his collection. They all seem to be evergreen or semi-evergreen (or at least the ones I like). Would be nice to know his creations would be winter-hardy up in the North.
But now, my new 'problem' is that I have finally come across a vendor of the Felix Jury Magnolia tree (you should have a peep on Google Images) which I have been searching for for many years (although now I would have nowhere to put it as I gave up hope a while back and planted other stuff). And this amazing tree is still cheaper than the little daylily!
I think I will need to make a list of pros and cons of each then decide who wins the ongoing war in my mind.

Look them up on NGA plant data base, usually several pictures from different areas of the country, different cameras, different soils. This site is so very helpful
