Very pretty! Love that last one, that greenish yellow a lovely contrast to the color of the echinacea.

Thanks! The contrast is what brought it to my attention. Sometimes these guys are more noticeable certain times of the day, depending on the light. 🤗

I like the contrast with the flowers and the butterfly in this pic.

I have a lot of Monarchs one year, then few the next. These are from 2019.

Beautiful shots, on beautiful flowers, I can see why they're favorites. I actually saw a Monarch on my morning walk this morning and it is pretty cold today, was kind of cool since the song playing reminded me of my mom.

I took these back in November, I like them all, since it was so into the flower I could get close and clear shots.

The year I grew a particular zinnia called Forecast, a flat, Daisy style zinnia, was the prime year for butterflies for me. I noticed the other day that Burpees doesn't offer this zinnia anymore, nor can I find it in seed catalogs. Burpees does have something similar, the hey is to find one with a flat base where the pollen bearing whatever you call them thingies stick up above the petals. I had loads of painted ladies, here's some of those.
