NIIIICE!!! I would love a sunny day to try to get a picture of the eagles at the dam. It's been so cloudy here that I haven't even picked up my camera.

Sorry the photos aren't quite clear.
This is the first time I've seen these birds in my backyard since we've been in this house five years. They are hiding in the bottlebrush shrubs.
My hubby thinks they are warblers.

Wingbars, only the male has the "ruby crown".
We saw a male ruby crowned Kinglet at our old house. He was soo cute! He kept lunging at the window and pecking at it, with his feathers opened at the top, revealing a brilliant bunch of orange and red feathers. He visited so often, we ended up naming him "Loco", because he acted so crazily.

Larry, yes, Eastern bluebirds! So beautiful! A treat for them would be dried mealworms. You can find these in the bird seed section of most big box stores. I think a special feeder is required. Other birds, like catbirds and mockingbirds will eat the mealworms, and on occasion, robins.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

Because I do not own one of those super duper fancy mega zoom lens, I have to make due with what my camera phone....and the birds....will allow. The following photos don't have the greatest resolution, but enough to give you an idea:

By the way, I am new to the forum, but not new to gardening.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
