Jerry: Those pics are great. My NOID is heavily budded so it won't be long now. The new "kids" are settling in nicely. Only one issue I have so far from the ones I purchased last fall.

I usually cut off all the buds except one per stem in order to get the largest blossoms. I have a few that measure 7 inches across which are too heavy for the weak stems to carry, especially if they are full of water. Most of mine have bloomed and are bending to the ground so the blossoms will be cut off soon. Save the energy for next year. I am learning to pay attention to the nurseries' description of strong or weak stalks. Makes a lot of difference on how long they have a good display.

This has been the latest bloom season I can recall. Normally, we are finished by the second week in May, or even before then.

Well, my NOID pink is starting to open and the bush is filled with buds. After 3 days of rain and cooler temps, it finally managed to start opening.
