I may have missed this, but does anyone grow most of the agastache from seed? The only 5 that I have come from seed and I was wondering if anyone has been successful with lots of them.

I like plants.Not a seed person.I should think they would be easy as they self sow without a problem here.

I have a 30' x 7' strip along a tree line that I'd like to fill up right away. I probably will be doing lots of it from seed and some from plants and bulbs.

I have not purposely grown Agastache from seeds either, just cuttings or plants. But I am sure I'll have a lot of volunteer plants this year from reseeders. I don't think it's too difficult to grow them from seed.

Thats why I keep banging the drum for people to enter their pix on the plant-database.

Think this is all the varieties I've grown.....

Whenever I get around to going through my plant file, I might find some that didn't get submitted to the database. I'll post them when I find them.

It was very late the other night when I was doing the above post of mine and it was just easier for me to pull my pics from the db, instead of going through the file, starting with 2005 to 2012.

I agree. It's one of my faves. Chartreuse and purple color combo is my favorite (at least at the moment).

I have some green on my Agastache cana! Of course, got hit with major frost this morning, but I don't think that's gonna deter this plant!
