Our local pharmacy usually has those same packets for only 10 cents! Haven't seen them yet, it's really too early to find any garden stuff here.

Marilyn - What I do when I add details to plants is not take the word of just 1 source, but I usually go through 3-5 pages on Google looking at every single source I can find to get as many details. I think I got the zone for this one from the Missouri Botanical Gardens. I was kinda surprised myself as most salvias are good only through zone 7 if you're lucky .. most are zone 8.

Wonder why they start out by saying "usually treated like an annual" ? Zones 5 to 9 can be definitely classified as a perennial.
