I have been searching for a companion plant for Regal Finale that would echo its green throat. I have focused my search on other daylilies, but have also found that a lime-green Coleus works well. I just wish that I had planted it closer to Regal Finale:

I have been so busy trying to catch up after a couple of trips, that I have had no time to post photos. But, for the past few mornings BRAGGING RIGHTS has been putting on such a show I had to take time to snap at least a few photos of it. I just got this plant back in March of 2020, and already it has reached it's registered height, it is one of my tallest plants, don't normally like them this tall, but this and Panic In Detroit are the only two tall ones I have and they really stand out.
Bragging rights, there is a third scape also, but it was not blooming this morning.
PANIC IN DETROIT: Blooming nearby, nearly all the ones blooming now are down in the bog, that says something for keeping plants watered very well.
So nice to see everyone's blooms tonight. I did a quick walk around the garden this morning and called it a day, temp of 90 with 89% humidity. After 5 weeks of daylily this and that it was kinda nice to sit and get appointments made and bills paid. Also had time to make an excel list of the newly planted sdlgs and... I got all the image folders sorted So here's a few to start with...
