Well here in Houston, TX it is actually pretty cool at only 64 F and the highs over the next 10 days are supposed to get up to the 80's which is not that bad for late
September. It is pretty sunny outside and the plants all look good!
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.

78, very muggy with 84% humidity. It's supposed to rain soon, for at least a few hours…I have a beach wedding this afternoon… if it's raining, it's supposed to be in downtown Rockport, not that close to the beach venue. So far, we've heard nothing from the couple about where we are supposed to go.
If it was your wedding, wouldn't you want to tell your guests where they are supposed to drive to?

Not actually my place. We are hazier but greener. Photo is poetic license.

That's really exciting, Ginny!

Very exciting news about being a tour garden Ginny! Thumbs up
Still no power is terrible Dave. Hope it comes back on soon. Crossing Fingers!

Limping along on this miserable computer. New one getting installed on Monday. Cloudy hot and humid all day with temps in the mid 70's. The line of showers finally made it's way across VT this morning leaving us with another .55" on already soggy ground. Skies cleared out this evening and the temp is dropping, our low today is the current temp of 59.

Congratulations Ginny! Hurray! Hurray! I tip my hat to you. I'd help mulch but it's a bit of a walk. Hilarious!

Dave, hope things get back to normal quickly. Crossing Fingers!
Every lineman from the Great Lakes to the gulf must be exhausted. Those folks are heroes.

Got a little over 3.5" of rain from the past event. Cool dry air has things feeling crisp. 80/53

59/65F rain a.m. partly cloudy p.m. with a new front. Finally seeing some progress on shoreline power restoration in the area; meanwhile our local "estimate" was pushed back 24 hours last night. Shrug!
This is why we have a generator.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here in Western mass. I have so many plans to use the day well and do some transplanting and planting. I bought a cute little hydrangea called 'Little Lime Punch' and I'm excited to get it in its home in the front garden where I can admire it every day. In this garden I have a beautiful daylily with extra tall scapes and the flowers are a really nice cool yellow. It's my favorite daylily of all time but I don't know its name

Here in Asheville NC the days are a cool 69-70's but rain has made digging daylilies hard. After 27 years and over 40 kinds it is getting to be too much and I am posting free daylilies in the local Nextdoor and meeting lots of lovely gardeners.

Hi everyone ! Love the topic.
Typical summer to autumn weather temperature transition for Michigan: we were 90's now we're 60's.
But, uncharacteristically we received 4.5" of rain in 24 hours, plus 50mph winds. Lots of problems for southeast Michigan's lower peninsula and Lake Huron coastline.
