Ron..

Pairing up Tinkerbell blooms with white shorter blooms of smaller amaryllis as some suggested by Barbara would look very nice for a table / window scape. Best next to some of your hand made breads and pasta you make… Lovey dubby

It seems like a year is such a long time to wait see how the new Tinkerbell will look since your cross pollination .

That is encouraging to try cross pollination, maybe I will try to cross pollinate Candy Floss and Snow Drift. They are showing some interest in each other hugging in the window… Lovey dubby
It takes many years for the final bloom if the final blooms are worthy for recognition. Crossing Fingers!
But it will be fun 🤩 during the process.

Here is Marquis, which ended up with 4 blooms on one scape. It was very top-heavy with these full double blooms:

And this is the last blooms of my mystery bulb. Still not sure about Charisma or Stardust, but maybe next time it blooms, I'll figure it out. Or not. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Beauties! Love your Marquis. I have a new found appreciation for white/cream blooms. In the past I didn't care for them; it's funny how your taste changes over time. I especially love how white blooms glow on a moonlit night!

I couldn't agree more! The double whites have become my newest obsession. Along with the whites with a yellow or green center's, just beautiful.

Hippeastrum Red Reality from White Flower Farms. One of the darkest red blooms that I've ever seen. The photos don't capture the luxurious appearance. As is usual with the dark red blooms, there is a tendency for pollen staining. The opening bud faces down a bit, but as the bloom ages, it lifts into a fully horizonal position.

Hi
Hurray! Red Reality what a name.. I tip my hat to you. Reminds me of how all the Reds can photograph so differently. I have so many reds they all are different. Nice addition…to the collection. Glad all your amaryllis made it thru the cold weather last week.

A couple more have bloomed. Dancing Queen, Temptation, Glee.
Temptation is really a 'persimmon' color. A pink red combo. Can't seem to get the true color to show correctly. Always a issue. It always looks more red than in "reality"… Rolling on the floor laughing
Temptation has become my fav due to its persimmon color and markings. Even out shines some of the huge doubles.

Will have a few more to add soon.

Temptation…….. Dancing Queen

Finally another amaryllis of mine in bloom! They have been so slow to grow their bloom scapes this year. Blinking This is Minerva, my oldest bulb and a favourite! Two more varieties are starting to push some growth so hopefully they will bloom soon; of my other 2 , Exotic Star is only growing leaves and my white Noid still is dormant. Hoping for the best! Cheers!

@crawgarden…Rj .. Thank You!
Well…just messing around with those micro lights, so tiny , even the tiny battery pack is hanging on the flower head. Maybe can enhance table scapes, window scapes for special occasions. Imagine them setting around the house just using the waxed bulbs light on or hanging from wire cages so many possibilities and use in any floral design.
Ok .. it's been a long winter …soon we'll all be out in our gardens . Rolling on the floor laughing

I'll have to think about the mislabeled one for a while, and get back to you on it. My indoor ones are finally done, and my first outdoor one, a double red, is in bloom, lots more scapes shooting up, an ode to Spring in Florida

Sounds like we're both starting bloom withdrawal.
How nice to have amaryllis blooming inside and outside at the same time… I could only hope that would happen during winter here.
Last year the 'Magical Touch' amaryllis bloomed in Dec and again in July and the 'Naked Lady' out in the garden also blooming. Does that count? That was once in a millions occurrence here..it happened .. a first for second bloom in summer…and maybe I'll get lucky and it will happen this summer..

While the mis labeled amaryllis is really a single petal flower variety it is a very interesting in shape, size and the persimmon color is quite an attention seeker. Had another bulb mislabeled. It was labeled 'Glee'….the bloom was far from the label. It turned out to be 'Minerva'. A far cry from 'Glee'.

I checked out where you ordered your bulbs and very impressed with the number offered and varieties. Maybe next season I can get some really sought after . After all amaryllis bulbs are a real treasure packed with blooms.

Happy Amaryllis searching.

Bea, thanks for sharing a wonderful display of blooms with us this year. Not familiar enough yet with colored varieties to take a stab at IDing your NOID. Sighing!

I am glad I found all of you and the beauty of these bulbs. It has eased the blah-ness of January-February considerably.
Thank You! all for making my winter fun!
