This one bloomed on April fools day.. today it's all the way open. Since it was a bad imitation of 'Temptation' I couldn't resist giving it an appropriate name…'Freckleface'.
Looked high and low and cannnot find a match . So until then ….and a picote edging in crimson shade.
Just look at all those freckles as the flower face matures more freckles develop.

Bea, very pretty. Freckleface is as good a name as any for this unknown cultivar.

The last of the grouping of amaryllis blooms this season.

Turned off red eye on camera and actually can see the true color I call crimson on 'Freckelface'. No edit at all on any pics all natural colors came true & no added light just natural soft back light from window on a cloudy day. in my pic taking experience this season , adding artificial light can effect the natural colors.

'Tinkerbell' is on it's last scape of blooms.
'Glee' on its last scape of blooms.
The orange red color in the bloom in the front middle also a unknown bloom-I'll call -
'The Runt of the litter', it's the tiniest amaryllis bloom I have ever seen .. Rolling on the floor laughing

No edit at all on this pic showing the natural colors came true.

Here's a slightly edit on same blooms - changes the colors in comparison of the unedited pic.

I think the unknown freckleface is 'Charisma'.

I am so excited to see this cybister rebloom outdoors. I have planted 2 dozen different cybister form bulbs over many years, and they are so resistant to reblooming. Perhaps, every three or four years, one of them will bloom. I believe that this is Sumatra, though I am not positive since the tags went missing many years ago.

Two blooms rescued from the slug attack two weeks ago. Don't remember what they are, since the labels fade quickly once they are outside.

Absolute dislike slugs here to…they can ruin a garden in hours. Terrible, horrible ..evil.
Beautiful pics Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby what are they? There are so many reds I'll could guess for days but the white with touch of green in center looks like snowdrift

Not sure why the cybister Amarillo's don't bloom as often. There supposed to.

The white looks like White Nymph, Bea is there any white in the double red?

Betsy you have a nice collection of amaryllis and variety. Very pretty striatum is one I have not seen before has a real pure color shape and height especially peaking over the greenery under plantings. It looks like the second one down is a cybister ?
Do you have the names for the other amaryllis?

Betsy, nice display. Always great to see a cybister in bloom. The leaves look a lot better than the leaves on many of mine. Four out of my sixteen pots had a major red blotch attack this winter, due to so much rain during what should have been our "dry" season. You can really see how disease spreads from bulb to bulb in a single pot.

@Bumplbee, Bea, the cybister is "La Paz" which I was thrilled to found at a local nursery.

The others are NOIDs. I had a "Minerva", do you think the one below La Paz could be it?

My "Dancing Queen" has not shown up; I'll be so sad if it's dead. A double red hasn't either.

The first one from previous post, I have plenty of - I like the dark red spot in its throat.

Here's another NOID:

You have a nice browsing area in your garden for them. I wonder if you amend the soil? Most of Fl is sandy or on sea shells and sandstone?

The bloom below La Paz is gorgeous❤️❤️❤️
And your pic sure looks pretty close to 'Minerva' . The only thing is …it is missing the thin outline in white around each of the petal. It looks more like 'Star of Holland'… 🌠

BB Code:
Where do you shop for your amaryllis? Some look like the newer hybrids .
Some of the new hybrids have softer colors and variations of pastels and lighter outlines and striping. Softer color and markings in general.

Where do you get your amaryllis?
I have goten a few from K.van Bourgondien,,,Sweet Dreams Amaryllis,- in Fl., Easy to grow bulbs, big box stores , local nurseries, and Amaryllis Bulb Co. is in Fl. and inherited a few.

I don't like to order from the Dutch companies any more because all their bulbs always have the rust fungus. I'll treat them before planting and have to keep them quarantined from the other bulbs.

You might take a look at some of the amaryllis from Sweet Dreams their address 3015 Waylon lane, Valrico, Fl, 3359, and some pics online are similar to your pics above…they may be near you? Fl is a huge state. Or the other one in Fl. Florida bulb Co.

I just ordered new amaryllis from Sweet Dreams to force next fall for the Holidays. Omgoodness there are some beauties. 🤩🤩
