Yes we are expecting about 3 inches of snow tonight. My daughter, the one with 4-wheel drive, is in charge of getting her sister and I to church tomorrow.

I just looked at aridlands. OMG $10!! I'm glad I mentioned them. Now I can buy twice as many... Lovey dubby

It didn't snow 3 inches last night, it snowed SIX. My daughter didn't make it down off her hill (chain broke). I spent an hour shoveling snow so she could get into my driveway but its still snowing so I will have to do it again.

One of the things I like about Reno is that it only snows an inch or so and that evaporates (low humidity) in a matter of hours. I can enjoy snow but I don't have to shovel snow. Hilarious! Hmmm... Seems to me I have shoveled a lot of snow this year.

Here's a couple pictures for you. The plant jammed up against the back door of my greenhouse is a ghost pepper. It needs some pruning but it always has peppers and I hate to cut them off before they are ripe.

Lovely photos Daisy! The snow tricked you! Hilarious! When we first went to Reno, it was summer a few years back. We have not gone there or near Tahoe area during winter ever. Too chicken to put chains on our vehicles Big Grin But we have lived in Canada for several years so tons of snow is a normal occurence, only thing is our area there is the plains, so no steep roads there, no chains needed but we do need to plug our vehicles when it gets to the negative temperatures, so we can still drive around with care.

And the last time we went to Reno, as we were trying to get to Tahoe, a lady rear ended us! Grumbling So we had to travel back fast home! Jippers with our bumper precariously dangling!

Giving my Pinguicula primuliflora some outside warmth and sunshine while temps are still not too onerously hot, plus a chance to capture some gnats, there are a lot of gnats on the nearby succulent container. My first time to observe that apparently even the flower stalks are sticky, so the gnats are stuck there as well. Not sure yet if the leaves are back to its carnvore stage. Maybe the flower stalks compensates while the leaves are not yet ready to feed.

Tarev, I found some really nice pitcher plants last weekend, so tempted to buy them but I talked myself out of buying it because my hubby is starting to call me a plant hoarder Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
