Just going to post an update of my Eulophia petersii. Well, I have no luck having blooms for this one, but I am happy it is enduring the heat wave this summer and it is actively making pseudobulbs, so that reassures me, it is still doing okay. We are in another batch of heat wave, so will document it to see if my stepped up watering is helping, or am I making it bad.

I am trying to decide if I need to reposition it some more in a bit shadier side, but that area gets good shade after 2pm, so I guess it is still okay.

there is that new pseudobulb on the right...some reassurance.

So since this is a succulent-like thread, here are some new ones for this year, got them in late Spring:
A member of the Bromeliad family:
Abromietiella brevifolia

Another member of the Bromeliad family:
cryptanthus - being grown indoors by west facing window, I do not think it will like our dry heat outdoors.

A noid bromeliad given to me last year, it is behaving like a good succulent, enduring the heat very well. Always nice to see its before and after, to see its remarkable growth adjustment from last year to this year:

I forgot to add, another new one last Spring, Ledobouria socialis
Love the mottled leaves and the tiny blooms, it also handles the heat quite well so far:
