I have new plants from Chris on Cubits, which I have not yet potted and put out.

I also have a few others not Semps but there are some Sedum, Coral Bells and Coleus and other plant types
Chris' semps ......................................................a few of the others.

Yes I do remember seeing your newbies from Chris! I love them. Are you just leaving them out like that? How long have they been out of the dirt? Your other tenders seem to be doing quite well and they are really pretty. Looks like you have some gollum fingers there as well....I love my Gollum.

That was the original pictures. I will try to get one tomorrow of the whole bunch straining toward the limited light source.

I put the new semps back into the papers, but not wrapped tight and put them in a covered container.

Someone said they had planted semp offsets months after they arrived (forgot they had them I think they said)

So I am hoping they are going to be OK. If it is nice enough in the next few days I may try to put them in pots.

Marilyn I think Gollum is tender yes! I tip my hat to you.
I read that someone had them bare root for 18 months! But they were kept totally dry! They're vulnerable to mold when they're bareroot like that! I tip my hat to you.

I'll keep the gollum inside.

Here is a bad picture of my stash.

And confession time. I bought some tender succulents at Lowes a few days ago.

These will stay inside until late May I think.

I love them Marilyn....I can't wait to take mine outside and see how they do. I am also waiting until mid May before attempting that. Its so hard to not get new ones when you go out....they just want a good home to go to and I have seen many on clearance racks due to neglect. Poor things.

Jackie, the greenhouse is not a good thing for your semps. As Bev mentioned, it can get to warm and not enough air circulation. If you have an unheated garage, that would be a good place for them on rainy days. Once they get some damage from lack of good air circulation, to much direct sun, etc, the soggy soil only causes more stress to the plants.
Keep them dry for now. I would also place Uranus on a paper towel, not on the slick plate. The paper towel will help absorb the excess moisture. Or a paper plate.

Again, most of the time when new plants arrive, I plant them in shallow nursery trays and place on my covered deck out back. When they start to look a like they might be showing signs of drying out to much, I give them a small drink. After they get going I move them out to the beds.
Moving them to the beds works best in the spring or later fall when temperatures are more moderate and we have some rain.

Ok Lynn. I will take them out of the greenhouse in the morning and put them back outside. I dont have an unheated garage. I have a shed with my bikes and lawn mower and deep freezer in it and that's about it. Should I put them in there possibly? It is dark though and no light would get to the plants. Should I repot all of them in dry soil as well? I will put the Uranus on a paper towel and put that on a paper plate. I do have those. I thought they would do good in these little pots But I guess they didnt like the rain all that much.
