I reported this in previous thread. I am having a hard time seeing what I am typing when uploading photos.



Also when I just type strings of banana search nothing comes up.

Karen, I don't have a blog and never attempted one but there may be a way to change it from public to private in the site preferences area, via your profile page.

@Dave, disregard if this issue has already been mentioned. I happened to be looking through database photos at the entry for Common Mango (Mangifera indica) and find at least one photo with an upside down orientation and a couple of others with a sideways orientation.

Dave is aware of that problem Lin.

Blog posts can be unpublished, making them private. Go to your blog, and click on "blog control panel."


Then, next to your published blogs, click on "view list." Click "edit" on the blog(s) you wish to unpublish.


Finally, go to the very bottom of your post, click on the big green button labeled "Save & Preview," and then you should see a list of options, one of them being "Un-publish this blog post."

Nowhere, after going through your instructions, does the list available to me on my computer say "Unpublish".

That said, it's possible that somehow I'm not accurately following your directions, or interpreting what I see.

If one of your choices is "Publish" then that means it is not currently published. You can only unpublish publicly viewable items.

Karen, thank you for the acorn.

One way you can see all the blogs you've published is by clicking on "view your blog." All of your posts able to be seen by the public will be there. They should have options for thumbs-up, acorn donations, bookmark, and a comments permalink (unless you've disabled comments).


It would appear you have two pages of published blogs.

I probably confused you in my previous post when I said to click on "view list." Don't click on "view list" for your "in progress" blogs, click on "view list" for your "published" blogs (screenshot below).

I'm in the hibernation swap & tried to create a new post, and it automatically takes me to the page where I enter my tracking number instead.

It seems some pics are appearing sideways on my IPhone and IPad as in here. I was about to straighten them out when we realized they look perfectly correct on my husband's IMac.

I see you have piles of glitches to work through.
Here's another one. The upcoming seed swaps are not usable right now. The rating stars don't work, nothing can be added to our wish lists and the the the main swap list no longer has a way to view the contributions of individual swappers, instead of just the entire list. That's as far as I got - there may be more glitches. If it can't be fixed by the March swap time, please let us know.

Sorry I'm bringing this up as well, @dave, but I sent out three acorns to someone, and it sent out six instead. It's doubling.
