etc.

Re symbols. Just noticed my name.

@dave, it would appear the acorn-giving system is duplicating. I sent one acorn to a member, and it sent two.

@Johannian, I had lots to share so I just sent you 5 acorns ... looks like it's working okay now.

@Dave, this may be a bug you are already aware of but on my home page I have the list of Recent Images From the Database and on every one of them, the Caption is wonky.

Yes, I see the problem now. Okay, thank you for this report. I will fix it in the morning.

I suspect he's adding something that doesn't work in captions or something he added got garbled during the brief down.

Weird, I sent one acorn to chhari55 for his banner, then later I returned to the thread and found two had been given, not all at once, but as two separate acorns.

I've also noticed a few hiccups regarding diacritics:


Should be "Às… Vovó"

Should be "Ângelo"

Fortunately it appears that manually re-entering the correct characters solved the problem in my cases.

I don't know if these two glitches are related, but here they are (cross-posted from the Hibernation Seed Swap - https://garden.org/thread/view... ):

#1 this morning, when I typed ' www.garden.org ' into my address bar to access the Hibernation Seed Swap, the address bar read:

Image of black triangle with white exclamation in the middle + Not secure
then a vertical bar, followed with www,garden.org

So now I cannot access this website by the usual way of putting its url into the address bar.

What did work for me, though, was to click on the notification in my email that directed me to a tmail from Jessabelle on garden.org .

#2 - Dave, is there any way my unpublished blogs could be made private again?
