RIta, will you have to wait long after the tulips are finished before you have daylilies or something else in bloom? Won't that be hard to wait out after this huge showing of color? They're so pretty.

I have TB iris, Siberian Iris, roses and lilies all between the tulips and the daylilies. Lots of color and lots of flowers around here. I have spring blooming trees like crabapples and shrubs like azaleas. Mostly always something in bloom around here.

I planted a flat of Portulacas in the very front of my terraces garden. I have had Portulacas planted there each year for at least three years now.

Went to the Pet Shop today and got a very good deal. 50 feeder Goldfish for $4.00. They are a decent size also. So now all the ponds have goldfish.

I need something in them to eat up the mosquito larvae. The two little ponds the racoons love to go fishing in so I only ever stock feeders. As it is I have to restock about twice each summer. The big pond they leave alone but I was in no mood to spend money on fancy fish when I could get these cheapo ones.

This is my little Suberian Iris garden., You can just see them comming up now (green shoots). I planted this Greigii tulip called Mothers Love in there for spring color.

Oh Rita ...just beautiful....we are are just waiting on sun around here...In one of your photos the in ground fish pond...is that a Roof in the background,just above ground level ? If so ,thats excaly how our house is built,into this Big hill....wishing I had some of your terraced beds ...Ihave teraced ,but with field stone...

And the Hellebores...I feel the need for MORE of those....Mine is growing leps and bounds but only 2 blooms ???

The roof is of my neighbors garage and it is built into the hill. So is my garage. My property is so multilevel. I have terraced garden beds all around the yard.
