It will be July before these look great. But so far ,not all coleus are planted nor all annuals.Caladiums are in but wont show for weeks

The begonia is already a stand out.

Well, the wind and rain are not helping these grow so I thought I had better share them with you before we get more storms. They are only in the boxes a week but they seem to be taking hold. I really like them. They are the little hybrid petunia called Petchoa and the color is Terracotta. I have four long boxes of them facing each other at my deck and little feed bard with a bird bath between two of them. Nothing fancy, just plain old farm stuff. Never saw this before this year. Just love their size and color. They do not show the hard rain as much as a regular petunia.

JoAnn, that is a wonderful collection of containers and such pretty combinations. i can hardly wait until they mature and you show us more shots. I wish I had a larger variety but I am limited because here on the farm we keep it pretty simple. We are a Christmas Tree Farm and have very little room for flower gardens, so we just stick pots around to make it look like we live here.

Greg, your fuschia is beautiful. Never saw one that color. Combination is very nice.

JB,The collection is a combined group.DD and SIL and I sold our houses,bought a big one and we increased our collection of everything by 2.
I had lived in a neighborhood where the yards were small so I "Tub gardened " in the driveway.

It all looks so lovely and warm and inviting. Good job I would say, no matter how big the house is, I live in the outdoors when I can. I would rather be in bare feet and sand than shoes and deep carpet.

Here is a small pot that I got for Mother's day and there was no ID on it. It is amazing and they close at night. I must ask my neighbor who has the Farmers Market where they bought it what it is? I love it.

Another one I got for Mother's Day from one of the girls that works for me. I am wondering if the variegated ivy is hardy here. I could put that down along the fence if it is. The Silver is not for sure.

Spring, yep you are right about that one fuchsia! Bev I love all flowers, and went to a neighborhood nursery where a friend of mine knows the owners, and they allowed us to go into the growing areas, where all of their pots were being grown out, it was so wonderful to see that side of the business! Rows and rows of plants!! I bought 6 different types of fuchsia, because they are all supposed to be perennial here in Seattle...we'll see!

I have had autumnale winter over in a very large pot. Mostly no but, sure worth a try.

They were an annual here.I used them in containers last summer..I really like them but they show better if hung to be viewed from below.I found out about upright fuschias after I planted.
