I had the same problem with some Daylilies that bloomed. The spider type suffers the worst but I finally got a pictures of Lillian's Funky Spunky! Hurray!

middendorffii var. esculenta is one of the species dayliles. It's strange to think how simple the first daylilies were compared to what we grow today. I like the fact that it is so early and also reblooms.
