I can't see any buds, only little claws. When are the buds going to come out? Smiling

Growing plumeria is an exercise in patience, isn't it? Well, for those of us new to them, anyway . When they finally do bloom, I think they'll be all the sweeter, after the wait Green Grin!

Thank you Hetty! Thumbs up My eyes are not used to find these tiny buds yet. They told me at the nursery that it will bloom soon, just looking over the plumie, not close as I did and not seeing anything LOL.

Cyra, that's true, lots of patience. Smiling Even if it wouldn't bloom soon or not even this year, I love it for how it is and for the beautiful leaves is pushing out. Plumeria will be faster than the cycads anyway. You can imagine how slow those grow, and I have a few of those, all young plants, between 2 and 7 years old only.

I agree with Hetty! Congratulations on your inflo! If you look closely at the tips, one has a little "crown" growing on it. Which means you have an inflo. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

Cyra, you are right about exercise of patience. I was so sad that the 4 inflos of my Divine miniature plumeria did not produce any blooms because of the last cold snap we had in March. Thankfully, I got rewarded with 3 new branches for every bloom I lost and the new branches, which are only 2 to 3 inches long are now producing inflos. My Dwarf Singapore Pink, hausten white; Puu Kahea and Star White plumerias inflos are getting huge! I think DSP will bloom first.

I've posted more than a week ago with a pic of a leaf that was bent and kind of softer than the others. It kind of came back to its normal status after that but now I can see it again bent, plus another leaf of a different branch is bent too. Should I sprinkle them with some water during the hottest hours of the day? We've had temps in the 90s yesterday and the same will be today. I've noticed they were bent before yesterday though.
I've checked the moisture meter and it shows in the moist range, not close to the dry, and it's placed in between the plumie and the wall of the pot. I guess there is enough moisture at the plumie root.

What would be your advice regarding that?

I will take pics and post them, with the bent leaves.

It's probably your dry heat but don't sprinkle water on the leaves in the sun, it might burn them. Maybe mist them a bit at night.

I've seen numerous pictures of all type of plumerias here on these forums, and I noticed that they keep their leaves very straight and firm. These two leaves look softened and bent.

First leaf:

The same leaf:

The smaller leaf:

Thank you in advance for any input.

I've already placed the plumeria in some shade, with today's extreme heat I was afraid the sun will burn it.

Yay! My staring and sweet talking to my plumie paid off too! I just noticed this morning she's pushing out an inflo. All I hope is that it's a real inflo. It's too small for now, but yesterday it wasn't that high, so I hope it will come out as it should! I was expecting the highest branch to push an inflo out because is also a fat branch, but that one and the smallest one don't show any signs of inflos, only claws.

Here are pics with the new inflo awakening, from different angles:

Cyra: I agree

I also talk to my Guinea pigs everytime I get one for lap time or when I go to their houses, I always talk to them, I call everyone of them by her name, and guess what, they literally come when I call them. When others in my family call them they don't react, just look at them or not even that. I also noticed that although sometimes they nibble other (little) fingers, they never nibble mine. And I hold them very close, and kiss them dearly, and my fingers are almost in their mouths, but they never nibble on me. I just looove animals and plants!
