Well, finally I have a little bit of color to add, not irises yet, but some color anyway, you can see how far behind our climate is compared to those of you in the warmer regions.
Some Aricot blossoms.

Tom seedlings look great, I don't know when spring will get here we are forecast for 1 to 2" of snow tonight and 30's the rest of the week my Iris look similar to yours had a good growth spurt this weekend but they won't like the hard freeze coming our way.

I have a bunch of SDBs blooming today. Most were in the shade when I got home so I am not sure how good the pictures will be. Here is the list:

Skiddle
Jeepers
Diggles
Rare Edition

I now have alot of stalks showing, some are normal and some are stunted.

A couple SDBs showing color. I think the first of those to bloom will be 'Soft Air' which is historic now.

Having clumps is new for me as I am pretty new to iris collecting. I added them to this new garden when I moved 2 years ago, coming from a small city lot and boy, every morning walk in the garden is exciting! Taking lots of pictures helps me to see what's new and what works and what needs moving. I am trying to get that color coordination thing going as I grow many things including daylilies and roses, which are just starting this week. This was mostly overgrown shrubs when we bought the house and the soil seems to be good and it filled in fast! Thanks to all of you posting so many lovely blooms and adding to my wish list, I may run out of room sooner than I thought! Green Grin!

My iris are going to hate the snow predicted to arrive tonight. But nothing is even close to getting blossoms - so that will help.

In the meantime, such gorgeous photos everyone.

As for the weird spring - I thought last year was weird, record warmth in March, and frigid temps in April.

And no rain.

This year is just an extended winter. Except for a few years, I never consider Wisconsin to have much of a spring, we go right from winter to summer. I guess I forgot that since the past couple years spring has been decent (April 2012 not counting) ~Jan

I would guess that the dark blue iris with the orange beard is 'Paul Black'. I love the combination of blues and yellows in the garden shots with addition of some accent colors. Thumbs up

Yes, as Paul said, it's Paul Black. Those were taken in evening light so everything is darker.
