Thanks Pam, I'm sure Leslie will share. I did think of you when I looked at the first bloom, my favorite double is DYT. I have a few more of the cross, I will keep you in mind if anything looks like it is worth keeping.

I had to come look this up after your e-mail. It is just luscious! Hmmm. That could make a good name. I've been impressed with Barry Goldwater this season. It is nice and tall and blooming like a champ. It's head and shoulders above anything else in my doubles section.

Both of the doubles seedlings are exciting. I salute you.

I have several daylilies from Lyle's garden. This year, so far, Lebeev Orange Crush is the biggest and most vibrant. Dunno why. Wanted to share these couple of pics.

Love hummingbirds!!! I never knew that they went on daylilies though. Still haven't seen one in our area this spring.

At my old place I put up 11 feeders and had probably 150 hummers. They stayed in their territories so they were pretty easy to count. I never once saw them go to my daylilies even though they flew right over them. Some would perch on them while guarding their feeder, but never fed from them. Now the butterflies loved the daylilies.

Lyle, I really like the seedlings you are getting with your own Desert Angel. Hawaiian Passport X Desert Angel is a lovely color with beautiful form, and I like the sculpting on Wonder of It All X Desert Angel. Both are very nice!

My season is coming to an end and only a few seedlings remain to be evaluated,,

This is the doubles from this season..

The four seedling I have set aside for evaluation are all on tall scapes 30"+ this comes from the pod parent DUTCH YELLOW TRUFFLE, and all these seedling like their pod parent set seed pod.
