Susan, I've not noted any fragrance from Yellow Blaze. It is definately my last Asiatic to bloom, opening 6-29 first and still hanging in there.
Also, thanks all for complements on July garden border.

Jack, your pics all drew gasps from me! Love that yard shot, and the leopard lilies are stunning!

JoAnn, have you ever heard of the Glamini Glads that Van Bourgondien sells? They're supposed to be really short, I'm curious if info is correct on those too. Seems like Polly and NYRita were getting some, but I haven't heard anything about how they did.

That's just the rim of a broken birdbath. Helps me remember where the baby konjac tubers are.

That's a great use of a leftover material. I have konjac planted with a seeded columbine that was in the pot when a friend gave the bulbs to me. Love the tall pink columbine, but like the more formal look the bb rim seems to give your garden.

Neal I didnt know about Glaminies.
Polly has them.I think she said her's were shorter.B&B 's are supposed to measure between 12 and 24 inches. I guess they mean the leaves without the flower spike.

I am making a note to get Glaminies next year.
