I see it has aphids. Sad

Hi Lynn, your oro reminds me a bit of mine but I'm not 100% sure if they are the same.

Bless you Yan. Group hug
I now remember that it did come from Perennial Obsessions. Thank you so much. It is so different than all of my other Oros.
Yours looks like a perfect match.

Since our weather has turned cold and wet, mine looks like yours. It is starting into hibernation. It will be interesting to see how far it goes into that process.

Actually that photo was from Oct 5th. They have lost all of its longer outer leaves and are left with the center rosette only. The photo below is from Oct 31st to give you an idea. It doesn't look as good now in hibernation.

Thank You! Greg, I'm keeping myself warm. Can't complain with high temps 40s low 30s.

These pix were shot after my beds were covered for the winter: had to cut openings for the Oro section. They were the last things the bees were able to get to in the entire garden.

No, I had to cut away the shadecloth to allow them to keep feeding the bees. Not too worried since they are monocarps: just hope the littler ones make it. We're expecting five below zero tonight. And the worst is yet to come (usually January & February).

It is so tempting to find these beautiful plants on the internet -- and then discover they are on the wrong continent... Thumbs down I hope you do find them, Laszlo -- they are lovely!

Just checking in here -- miserable weather. We haven't seen the sun in days! And while the ground is covered with snow now, it looks as if we'll have rain just in time for Christmas! Oh well. Still, lots going on and I'll be underground with everything going on in chapel: getting ready for Christmas and then 12 days of celebration! Hurray!
