Cattlianthe Candy Corn 1 month later:
Two surprises here: First, the flowers last a month! Second, all the internet photos are of old flowers. Is that a common thing to do?

I really enjoy taking pictures at each stage of change, sometimes every day. eg. my Brassavola 'Yellow Bird' starts out with rosy red petals, and an ivory lip dotted with dark red. You'd definitely wonder why it was named 'Yellow Bird' until you see it a week later, entirely golden yellow.
At least now we know why they named it Candy Corn, anyway. It does have the right colors. Eventually.
