LAST CALL for GREENHOUSE MEGASTORE order
If you're interested, you need to speak up NOW. If nobody else speaks up, I'll send in my order tomorrow night, 3/22.

So far I have
up to 15 1020 trays for Rick
2-3 sets of trays and 2" domes for Sheela
5 trays and 4-5 of the 2" domes for Chantell
at least 6 trays for me and possibly a couple of domes

So I think we're at 30 trays and a 10-pack of 2" humidity domes
Did I miss anybody?

Francine, if you're not sure what you have and what you need... we can likely do another order from them for pickup at next year's seed swap.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.

I am not even sure if I could be at the swap. My friend wants to go to a concert near her house, it is the conductor's (?) last one, he is going to retire.

We have both the 1020 trays and the 2" humidity domes. I highly recommend both products.
I am looking forward to the swap on May 20th in lucketts. This is the closest swap ato me and I am excited to meet fellow gardeners with similar vibes, plus a few neighbors too.

Big ole welcome to you Fliz15!!
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. I'm wishing I had the 2" domes NOW... something is nibbling the leaves/tips off my baby pepper seedlings. I'd guess mouse, but I've had that problem before, and they generally eat the whole stem (or pull it up).

Has anyone ever heard/seen Egyptian walking onions? They are the only spring onion that form "sets" on top that you can plant and also are perennial and super easy to grow. I had them at my old house and can't find them anywhere now. The only way to get them is to find someone who has them. I am really missing those onions (as they would be producing in abundance right now in early spring) and thought maybe someone knows of them and can get them? Thanks for any info!

Sheela, I might have disrupted mine when redoing the little areas behind the patio rocks... if they pop up I will let you know and save bulbils for you this fall... but you shouldn't count on that. I'm pretty sure I can tell them from the wild onions, because the walking onions have wide, thick leaves.

I didn't particularly take care of mine, because I never really found a use for them. Did you cook with yours?

I have a couple of flats of pots filled with mix and ready for cuttings, will be adding some things to my list this week... trying to gauge interest here... Montauk Daisy (fall blooming)? Geranium 'Biokovo' (white bloom, herbal scent)? Tall sedums (lost tag NOIDS, either purple or pink)?

Sounds like they can be used for cooking - both stalk (like chives) and 'bulb.' I might order some for fall shipping from https://www.egyptianwalkingoni...

Sheela, somebody else wanted a set (tray + dome), so I bumped you to 2 sets instead of 3. If that's not OK, let me know!

The domes are nowhere near as strong & rigid as the trays (and I wasn't expecting them to be), but they are 2-3 times the thickness of what i've seen for sale at nurseries over the years.

I just wanted to be sure nobody was expecting a dome they could sit on, to go with the tray that can be lifted while stacked with 3 bags of cement.

Chantell, thanks for letting me borrow a couple of domes. Stupid mice!!! Pretty much wiped out a tray of Gypsy pepper seedlings this past week before they started going for the PB in the traps.
