All Lovely!! I hear you about names, I have lots of NoIDs....I have been losing tags/markers for 2 - 3 years never to be found. Last week hubby was in the woods and came across a PILE of plant tags...mine!! He said it looks like some critter has been stashing them in the woods!! Any idea's? He thought of possibly a raccoon.

Tracey--love your selection! Thumbs up As I was scrolling down your pictures, I was thinking: where will it end? Were you able to see a difference in any as a result of last summer's heat and drought?

Orientals as no shows or extremely declined. Asiatics pulled through okay. The OTs that I thought would go out with tomorrows trash based on extremely poor tolerance, have shown up for another go of it. I did water last year as best I could. But I didn't think it was enough. As much as lilies are drought tolerant, they hate extreme heat. It was obvious. Had I not spent so much time watering, I could have and should have photographed the wilting leaves I witnessed. Wow. So grateful for this year! More normal!

Lilies can tolerate a whole lot, that's for sure.

That one is L. lijangense. I got it from Joe Nemmer a few years ago and this has been the best year for it.

This spring my seedling bed had all the tags strewn all over the place, one was stuck in the chicken wire surrounding the bed. I think it was squirrels that had a go at mine.

Not a whole lot of pictures out there on this one but from what I've seen I'd vote for Rick too. Tracy's looks more like Blood Tiger from the pictures I've found.

I seem to recall six or seven years ago Winnipeggy being sold by the PNWLS under the name On Wisconsin. What I received was a red strappy little thing. Similar to Lefty's.

Yep. You win Lefty.

Sometimes I hesitate putting any names with my postings, but I know there are a lot of folks out there who like to know names. I keep them as accurate as I can. But there are times after planting when planting close together and a bulb ends up coming up not directly behind its marker. Upon closer inspection, I see 'Winnipeggy' is near bloom, but what I thought was her was actually 'Red Strap'. I often follow the stem to the tag in order to fully identify. These two are planted closely by each other.
