I know everyone has this lily but I ordered it and planted it in April.A month ago deer were feasting on Loretoes nearby so I used porch furniture to barricade the place where they were getting in and passing up my Lionhearts, maybe because they werent budded yet.
They are blooming.hoooray. I still have barricades and wont take them down till lilies are faded.

Pretty Jo!

'Ocean Breeze' is still blooming despite 90 degree's all week and at one point heat index was well over 100. I'm really liking this tough little lily!!

Glad your Lionhearts got to bloom Jo Ann, seems mine gave up the ghost after last year's hazards,

Weather I imagine; extreme and prolonged heat w/o rain.
There's several apparently lost; one of these days I'll cross-reference to tally losses.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

Thumb of 2013-07-22/Roosterlorn/36185e Nothing Ivory about this one! The typical yellow center has been unlocked and yellow has spread throughout the entire flower. It came to me this way, of course. Nowhere near it's advertised color description of ivory face and ivory with dark pink/purple reverse. Suppose I should report the problem. Another AA, Fiery Belles was just great.

@ge1836, Jo Ann, is that streaking on the bloom? Any others show it? Lily enthusiasts, is that a virus?

We've been discussing just that and have come to the conclusion that it is probably heat stress. JoAnn decided to segregate it on the off chance that it may be something else.
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket?

I confess I panicked when it looked like tulip breaking virus.
It was late in the day and weather was going to be awful the next day so I dug them ( biggest bulb was size of grapefruit. It killed me)
I had both Robina and Satisfaction in large trash bags.
DD came home the next night and asked about them..I narrated the whole long story of how stupid and impulsive I had been to dig so soon."If I had waited another day for more input on the phenom,I would have seen a couple of "heat stress" suggestions"
DD convinced me to replant so I did. The Robinas are back with more compost, thankfully I left long stems.

So glad I have been I read this thread! I was just about to yank a bulb. I bought 3 large bulbs from Faraway flowers last year, they came up beautiful last summer. This summer...one had streaks. The foliage is fine but the flowers not so good.
Flower's are OK on this bulb

Heat stress is suggested as the reason.
I replanted the Robinas cause I just love them.
