It'll be interesting to see how it stacks up to nancyana, I don't really think ill have a good idea until next year, its my first year for both, but my nancy was tiny and planted in may, the lava came pretty big, but it was awful late and nancy was way bigger by then!
Their lives had been very different before they got here...
I expected nancyana to be a weak grower, boy was I wrong!
White lava atleast has enough of the vigor of that parent to hack it, they are growing fast too!
I doubt seriously they will have the leaf size of nancy but it seems they color up alot earlier, but it's so hard to say, they could have expressed the white shield early for any number of reasons I can think of, from a hot greenhouse to chemical treatment, both of which I'm 100% sure the white lava I bought experienced.
