Fina Garden is open and a few peonies are sold out as they wrote. I asked Harvey and Nate a couple of years ago to leave sold out peonies available for the view. Nate also got the same request from other people and had sold out button for one year. He did not repeat this feature after that. I would love to see all peonies available for a season, the same way as Ruud keeps the website.

Was just told that Warmerdam is open for this year. I'm not looking, don't want to be tempted!

I am definitely not looking. No room in the inn. All my peonies have made the trip wonderfully, plus a couple of new ones I added last year: Siren's Song. Predictably Pink Hawian Coral is a foot tall loaded with buds. And all the trees are coming along, some better than others, but I believe all will bloom. Added several last year that replaced a few I left in Alaska. Not expensive but rather heirloom.

It is good to hear that your peonies are doing well in Virginia.
Now you will be able to show pictures of your peonies early in the season. I look forward to seeing them.

placed orders today for 12 new peonies from Adelman, Solaris and Swenson. 4 peonies from each (4 woodies from Adelman).These are all new for me except for early windflower that I purchased some 20 years ago from Pacific something for $19 which was probably expensive 20 years ago. It died many years back. Thought i would try it again. also, the list is heavy on Saunders hybrids, but Solo Flight is one of Saunders few registered lactifloras. Also looking forward to Bremer's Dreamtine.

Tracey, do you grow Dreamtime? Do its stamens get black after rain? I really dislike this feature in Salmon Dream.

Dreamtime has not done that for me. In fact, it is a variety that impresses me every year. Most certainly an improvement over Salmon Dream, in my opinion. And lovely color and form that photos never quite do justice.
