Thanks all!

Here is Rose Reverence. She is very consistent and a good peony for warmer zones.

I planted Zeus last Fall and got a bloom. It is very close to the ground though.

Beautiful! Love the form and color of both Rose Reverence and Zeus!

My first bloom of the year is this pink fernleaf! This little gal hasn't grown much over the years despite my efforts to fertilize and give it amendments.

I tip my hat to you. Beautiful pink tenuifolia Karen; it sounds like my 12 year old that will be flowering for the first time this year D'Oh! Except that I have never really looked after mine Sad

I agree with you, LG! Sprite is not only cute but also has a lovely blush on its petals! It brings up images of a fresh young girl's face, delicate and pure.

Val, I am so looking forward to your seedling's bloom. When do you think it will bloom? Do you think in a month or less?

I think it will be more than a month before bloom Karen. Here, Kinlen, Rose Crystal, Sunlight and the species are some of the first to bloom (3 weeks before Red Charm) around the middle of May. Considering the size of RC's buds a week ago -

Love Kamata Fuji and MG! I think that is one of the reason I love MG because it resembles a rosebud before fully opened. I really fancy the cheerful red and form of Christmas Velvet. I hope mine will bloom this year. There is a bud but I am not sure it will make it to bloom. Thanks for posting this pic of CV, LG!

Vals, thanks for letting us know the time frame of your seedling and species bloom. I hope that your fernleaf seedling will bloom the color as you wish and dream of. Talking about seedlings, I am so very excited to see my seedlings from cross Carnation Bouquet X Lemon Chiffon bloom today. One(#1) of the seedling's color is very similar to Pastelegance. Its form is a Japanese type form. I am not sure if it will show a double when the seedling matures. The other (#2) is just a simple single light yellow color. I am really happy with this cross because the seedlings bloom extra extra early, basically the same time as my fernleaf hybrid and Nosegay. I also notice that the buds don't seem to be bothered by late freeze, though this needs to be observed more in the future.

Karen, your seedling number one has a lovely color. It is also interesting given the parents too. You never know all the genetics that lurk around and come forward in a cross.

Congrats on your super flowers, everyone. I am enjoying your pictures.

My first peony of the season and first tree peony bloom ever! Planted it in the fall and it popped up a single bud already.

Shimano Fuji from Adelman's.

I might have to move it this fall though Sad I put it in a south facing bed, full sun. It's loving the gloom we've been having of late but there were a few hot days at the start of the month that had it all limp.

Thanks very much, everybody! I have always loved Pastelegance. I am so thrilled to get a seedling that looks similar to it. I hope it will develop more petals like its parents when the conditions are right. If it proves to be a good plant, I would love to register it and name it in honor of my Mom.

Sulli, Leda has such a pretty color in bud!

LG, I totally agree with you that ID fades beautifully. Your SCB is very pretty too. Love its pink color!

Hiya, congrats on your first tree peony bloom! And it's a stunner! The deepening color toward the center effect is gorgeous.

Beautiful blooms, Karen! Did you have any damage from cold weather this year?
