Pots. That's what I'm doing for the specimen plants, or maybe just giving it enough space in the garden so it can grow unhindered. Chris I will take a picture of the bed I started last fall. Still looks pretty pitiful, but getting better. I'm going to make a map of what is where in the bed so I can remove all those plant tags. That is for another day.

Pots seem to make it easier to keep track of them, can also put a name tag. Will try to get that picture by the weekend.

Here is the neighborhood hens and chicks. It has been around here for at least 30 years. No one has a clue what it is. I got 14 babies off mine in May and they are already azalea pot size, and there are at least twenty more in there. The swan has been their home forever, and I 'inheirited' it several years ago. Not my regular yard decor, but I've become quite attached to her. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hey, I like that swan. Those appear to be tectorum semps. They are absolutely the toughest and very productive. Such awesome plants.
Very pretty mixed newbies. Do you know the names?

Thank you. I think that container is kinda plain, but I'm hoping as the babies arrive it will look better. When I visited my son in San Francisco in Nov., (used to live there for a while) we went to Baker Beach and I picked up rocks. The airlline actually temporarily lost my suitcase full of rocks. Interesting when I had to describe what was in my luggage. Little did I know I would have a perfect place for them!

NOT a clue, on the mix. The ones I just got I DID keep tags with them. I'm learning Thumbs up

In the next week or so, I'll go over to a friend's house and try to get pics of hers. SHE has tags. She has about 12 in a strawberry planter and they are growing like crazy. Depends on the light how well I'll do with that. It's so heavy she can only turn it around, not move it.

Hurray! Yeah, more pictures of cultivars for the database. It is surely growing. Give us another couple of years and it will be a really awesome database, each one in different seasons and stages of growth. They are such interesting plants. Isn't learning fun. Thumbs up
