Just came in from weeding and replanting semps in bed 6. I had such a great time visiting with them. Beautiful sunny day, in the 50's, perfect for spending time outdoors.
All weeded and the semps that were heaved from the ground from repeated freezing and thawing, all done. Hurray!

My one and only Lemon Babies made it through our very wet winter in good shape. Now if it will just get busy and produce a bunch of offsets, I will be very happy. : )

Lentezon is a new one that I got last summer. I think this is going to be one of my new favorites.

marmoreum f/Kanzan Gorge is another new one from last year. I looks like it will mature at about 1 to 2 inches. I'll measure it this spring when it is actively growing.

Now, just 5 more beds to go. That's just the raised semp beds. I have all the perennial beds still to get done. Rolling my eyes.

It really does feel like they are visiting with us, doesn't it. At least that's the way I feel. Thumbs up

Beautiful plants Lynn! Lentezon is a gorgeous color. Everything is so nice and green there already. I'm impressed you already have that large bed all set to go this early in the year.

Today was the first time it was dry enough to work out there. I think I have 2 or 3 varieties show some rot problems, not in the above bed, but one of the smaller beds. One of the has been a problem every year, so I may just get rid of that variety.

I'll be going out in just a bit Tabby. I'll make a list of the problem semps. They end up surviving and doing well during the growing season, but look terrible at this time of year. I'll try to remember to take some photos of them.

And this one has been like this all winter. At least it has some offsets and one other rosette with offsets to carry on the line.

Here is the same plant last Oct. I've never had one carry blooms over the winter before.
