For Sedum you can go here:
Sedum Forum http://garden.org/forums/view/...
Sedum Database: http://garden.org/plants/brows...
On this page of the sedum database scroll half way down, where the named culivars begin. You will find some lovely tall varieties of sedum.

They are easy to grow and give a lot of bang for your buck, so to speak. : )

Just S. 'Aross'.
S. 'Across' is a mis-spelling of Aross.

Can't wait to see it Charleen. How exciting, did it produce offsets?

Chris, I have sent an inquiry off to Martha about Across. We'll see what we find out.

I have some containers I'm thinking about planting semps, ice plants and sedums in. The are metal but must be lined with moss or something to keep soil from falling out. What do you line yours with?

Moss works well, as does landscape fabic, newspaper. Anything that will hold the soil in until the roots of the plants get going.
I usually use moss. Do you have a photo of the containers Clint?

Well I got to take a few photos today. It was cold with a little breeze, so I wasn't out there for very long.
S. 'Gamalea' Such a pretty semp.

Some of mine are still buried under snow as well. We usually have nice days here in Colorado between the snowy days. Not this year! Lots of snow cover for several days. I've lost a few semps but not sure exactly how many. Crying

Hello out there. I've been away so long I am ashamed to come back, but just cannot stay away. I have some beautiful Semps. most of them are almost purple, and some have a little green showing in center. I love every one. I think I've always had "Hen & Chicks", only name I ever had for them. I never paid attention to them during winter just loved them in Summer. Thanks to you, what a difference now, I cannot tell you how many times and how much I've enjoyed making the rounds of my yard just to see my beauties. Cannot see yet that any of them are producing, lol maybe it's like the "watched pot that never boils". I'm looking at them to much. I am still having to dig up the "Stinkhorn" from one of my flower beds.

Hurray! Faye, your back. We are so glad you can't stay away. Green Grin!
I forgot all about your stinkhorn. So it's still around? That is such a beautiful semp, the watermarks are wonderful.

So both Chris and Sandi's semps are still under snow. Won't be long before your semp treasures will be revealed. Hurray! Seems like time is going so fast.
