That looks like my Paraguay, not at all like B&D photo when I ordered it. It's a nice lily though. A keeper .

Got out a little bit late today. But here are some from today. And as I think about 'Kiss of Fire' it kind of reminds me of how 'Red Hot' did here. Never looked a thing like the photos. The coloring is somewhat similar.

Almost forgot, here is 'Forbidden'. I think it smells bad, and I have never said this about any lily.

Loving the show Tracey! How would you describe the smell of 'Forbidden'? Anything you can think of to compare it to?

My daughter is usually really good at this. And now that I think about it, I think I said this last year. It's so shocking because until I smelled that, there was NEVER a lily smell I didn't love. It's as if it smells pungent. I'll have the kiddo give it a whiff and see what she says I'll be back to let you know later.

A stinky lily? I am shocked! Makes me want to buy one just so I can smell it. LOL

You all inspired me to plant some seed crosses of Paraguay.... Truly is a spectacular bloom!

Just reviewed this whole thread and have to say the OT are just stunners. I was looking for one that looked like my red one, but didn't find it. Here is a photo with Sheherazade, Sarabande , Leslie Woodriff and my red NOID, The NOID is at least 5 ft tall and the biggest difference I notice in it is that the center is green, then yellow and the others are green, then white. It also has no spots like the others. Any ideas on a name?

Ya'all never told me Salterello was this beautifull? Got stored in the back of my lily fridge all winter long in 2011-12 due to lack of interest (seedling priorities). Finally planted June 2012 and here she is!

'Forbidden', my new theory is that intense heat changes the scent. Last year the entire time it bloomed it smelled bad. It smelled bad yesterday in the 90s. Today the temps dropped and it smells different, better. I'm not joking. It smells better when it is cooler. Strange, but true.
