I'm blaming the weather for all of my confused plants! My L. gouldiana is going to be about a month early too. We haven't had any morning sun as the "marine layer " hasn't been burning off till noon. Now we're in fall mode, and the sun is slipping off to the south, so none of my porch plants get more than a few minutes of sun, but the humidity is over and temps are up. Before giving me any kudos for Gerberara 'snow ballet', it has suffered too. After giving me one spike at a time, all summer, it suddenly put out nine spike within a week. Unfortunately, half of them blasted!
I'll try again to get pictures tomorrow, but timing is everything here, and between light, breezes, and coffee, it's tough to get decent pics.
