Susan I am sorry but I have had that lily longer than I have kept names. I think the Sudden Fire day lily came from you..

I think so too. Mine is blooming now.

Isn't all the rain this year nice. Your garden is looking wonderful. I like zinnias too and the fact that they add color so late in the season.

Silk Road is a beauty.

Those Silk Road plants are probably 8 to 9 feet tall. Can hardly believe my eyes!!

OMG I have Frizo .Its the same lily as Silk Road. I had no idea it would go over 5 feet.

Thank you Susan. This afternoon we got .8 inch of rain.. What a blessing!

Got out this evening after supper and dishes done. The temps lately are down and ditto the humidity. I was able to do some clean up and get a few pictures.

I have never been able to get 'Stargazer' to increase.


I liked the sun going down and shining through the grasses.

I treated myself to a pretty blue pot like that this year... I just couldn't resist. My young son mentioned how much he liked it, too, so I guess it's doubly justifiable.

Isn't this weather simply sublime?! Man, if all summers were like this one, gardening would be a breeze. As it is, it's so much more enjoyable! Weeds grow better too, but I'll take the trade-off any day!

I was told that my Stargazer isn't Stargazer, but it doesn't increase for me either...no matter which it really is.

Do you have Conca d'Or? It's increasing nicely here (with very little assistance ), and the scent is absolutely amazing!
