They're available in the springtime at Brent and Becky's Bulbs. Thumbs up It's a tall variety, so choose a spot accordingly. Smiling

I don't want to clutter up your garden thread with my images, but I just can't help sharing this one. *Blush*

Daylily in front is a taller variety. Unopened lily in the right corner is a Stargazer type...tiny in comparison.

Chelle, your Stargazer looks like mine.. Kind of short. I did have a happy surprise today when I was looking at the other lilies I found a Stargazer that I didn't remember planting there. Made me happy!

Yay! A bonus lily is a happy surprise! Hurray!

Do you have any hardy mums? Mine are starting to bloom already...just wondering if that's normal for our general area, or what?

My mums haven't started to bloom yet, but I pinched them back at least 3 times early in the year. I usually pinch them back until about Father's Day or they will bloom too early and then I don't have the color for fall.

Ah-ha, that's it then. I pinched mine back just twice, I think.

Thanks, Susan.

Not sure Patty if there is a secret. Someone on here sent me some a few years ago and they do very well. I can't remember who sent them and I tried to thank someone but they were not the person who sent them. : Smiling I can send you a start later in the season if you wish. Send me a tree mail with your address. Hope plants are tucked in nicely under all this snow and cold temps we are experiencing.

I have enjoyed looking through all your garden pictures Veronica. With snow and ice all around, it is refreshing to see what things will look like in a few months. I especially love the area around your patio.

I live in southern Indiana and have had Shasta daisy "Becky" for many years. Not sure if being a full zone south makes a difference, but it does very well. Maybe some varieties are hardier than others.

Vickie, a couple of years ago we were re-classified as zone 6a.. I am not sure of the variety but these guys are great. Just cut them back and they bloom all summer if we get enough moisture..wish I could remember who sent them. I am pretty sure it was a fellow Hoosier.

Veronica, what a lovely home you have. I enjoyed taking a stroll through your yard. You have very gorgeous flowers. You are so talented. You really have a green thumb. All our snow was gone until the 9 inches we got last Sunday and another 3 inches on Tuesday. Hopefully it will be gone soon and I can get my flower beds cleaned up and ready for this years blooms. Can't wait to see what your flowers look like this year. I tip my hat to you. Great job! I tip my hat to you.

I enjoyed seeing your garden and plants.. I especially liked the combination of the black Iris with the gold sedum. Your garden beds show very pleasing combinations of plants. Good job!
