Sun is coming up and tonight it is to rain with a cold front coming through. I guess tomorrow the big plants will come in and then that will be that. Just afraid to take a chance on an unexpected frost getting them. Time to realize Fall is here and summer is gone. Wasn't that an unusual summer weather wise? Maybe it was me that is unusual..........

I agree...pretty unusual, but that now seems to be the norm......rain coming in tonight, but clearing for tomorrow....Monday, chilly, the rest of the week should be very nice!

Glad we got the rain last night. The ground was starting to dry out. Sun is coming up and the blue skies with puffy white clouds are coming. Should be a nice day.

Wow, lots and lots of really soaking rain coming down overnight. Sure is cool today after that rain front passed. But nice and sunny out.

We had two inches of rain during the night. Of course Charle loves rain so he went out to play about 1 a.m. for his critter check and when he came in he was absolutely soaked. He came up to my side of the bed and got me awake to wipe him off. He is smart that way. He knows not to get on the bed that wet. So, it took me 45 minutes with the blow dryer to get him dry enough to come to bed. I am not used to a long haired dog and I was not happy. But he was so funny and wet I had to laugh. I swear his mother was a duck. He loves water.

It is beautiful today, in the 70s and sunny and breezy. Just came back from a breakfast baby shower and must get to work bringing more plants in and getting ready for colder weather. Have a good one.

Sunny, cool and beautiful. Perfect day to be outside. Hey Jumper, do you do any show jumping in the eventing classes? I am involved with the Horse Park of New Jersey. Great place if you have not ever visited it you should try and come to the Jersey Fresh Eventing which we have every year in May. The photo of Jumper 2 was taken when she was 14, riding her Dartmoor pony. I hope the youngsters can ride those as 'Sunny' could jump 4 ft in his prime.

My daughter's neice is 5 and just started hunter lessons....I bought her her helmet the other day since she decided to give up dance and keep on riding. I am thrilled. I raised all my kids with horses and my daughter is now the Equine Specialist for the State of NJ. She stayed with it from the time she was 4. She is now 62.

JB, my DD is currently in college for equine studies. I'm trying to ride more so I can re-learn how to jump.

The nice thing about young girls is that they love animals. That will keep her riding going. In the 60s today, but feels colder than that.

41 now going to 70.. hate to admit it.. I flipped the heat on for a few mins so I wouldn't wake Randy messing with the wood stove
