My first ever order from Maryott's is sitting at the post office. I had no idea that they had shipped the order, or I would have called and had it delivered! Crying The mail doesn't get here until after the post office is closed in the morning, so I can't get it until tomorrow. Well, it's something to look forward to tomorrow! Thumbs up

I am still waiting on mine, I gave a ship date of the 9th so I could get them planted when I was on vacation but he forgot to ship them. Crying Still no confirmation but seems like he is not doing confirmations, maybe he should let the post office notify people. I know he is too busy to actually send hundreds of confirmations at one time, but I have nothing to go on, no tracking number, no email. If he dug up 1000 daylilies on Sunday how long would it take to pack them all? I think Gerry got half of those. Whistling

I didn't get a confirmation that they had received payment of my add-on order, so I hope that is in the box too. I thought everyone sent some sort of shipping notice, but I guess I was wrong about that. Oh well, hopefully they are all in the box, and I don't have to wait for the add-on, which I sent in plenty of time to be included.

The way you can tell if your order shipped is by checking your credit card online around your specified ship date, as he doesn't charge your cc until order ships.

I got my last order from LA last week and it was from Tink. She had a couple of things I could not live without. Green Grin!

If I ever get my box from Maryott's I will be done for the year, well except for the order from Santa Rosa Gardens , I could not resist the 75% off sale. LOL.

This is my first time ever taking delivery after mid-August. I just finished potting the 50 plants from Bill, and some from the LA arrived today, plus more will arrive later this week and next week.

I have been making up for not being able to do much since the radiation treatments. I also decided to live for the moment, and go beyond boundaries, which includes fall deliveries. I am going to buy daylilies from Bill until he no longer ships them, and I will follow every special gift he offers.

To add yet another example of Bill's and Marilyn's generosity, when I ordered to get Nicole's Heat Seeker, I ordered another Get Jiggy. I noted that Bill should surprise me by selecting the bonus. The small box was waiting for me when I arrived home this evening. The contents: Nicole's Heat Seeker, Get Jiggy (BOGO), and Talavera Terra Cotta.

I can't wait to see what all he will send before he stops shipping!

I am most fortunate to have so many generous people in my life. That includes those from whom I have bought on the LA. And all of on ATP have been most generous with information and encouragement.

Gerry

Gerry, I bet your garden will be spectacular! I sure hope that you will be able to share pictures with all of us! It's wonderful that you are living in the moment. That makes life so much better. Dad had radiation a couple of years ago, and was shocked at the lack of energy he had until recently. It really takes a toll on you, and I'm glad you are feeling up to doing some planting.

I bought two BOGO plants from Maryott's, and was shocked when Bill mentioned that there would be a bonus! At such a good deal, I sure wasn't expecting that at all. I ordered two more, since I got wild and crazy and decided to look at the site again. Shame on me, but I just couldn't stop myself! So, I've got 4 plants, which equal 16 fans arriving, plus a bonus, which is really exciting! And then you add in the amazing gifts I got ( Drooling ), plus the few that I ordered from Theresa, and this has been a great year! Especially since there was NO way I was going to get any new daylilies this year, since I just moved all of mine to our new home! It's no where close to what many of you have ordered, but for me, it's been fantastic!

"Have no patience for bare ground"
Natalie, that was funny!!
Susan, I checked out your Santa Rosa link and ordered some inexpensive plants that I wanted to add to the garden including some Musa Basjoo banana. I will keep these indoors till next spring. They will stay outside in the pot until the cool weather arrives. I overwintered the banana out side one year. It got very big but, succumbed to excessive moisture the following year. Lesson learned. I will keep some indoors just in case. This pic is from 2010 I believe.

Mike, What are the tall pink and white flowers called? I don't remember seeing anything like them. Smiling 3 or 4 years ago we had a hardy banana make it through a winter as well, but lost it the next year. They're pretty neat plants.
