Lucky you, Greg!!!

Yesterday I was in a residential area of Salt Lake City on a very busy street with no parking. In a front garden of one home I spotted several clumps of iris blooming in a variety of colors. I circled the area several times looking for a place to park for a closer look and taking some pictures. On my final pass I got a closer look......silk flowers

I just visited a friend in town, and her Automn Circus is sending up two bloom stems. I better go and check mine.

I have two stalks of Again & Again that opened today, but couldn't get a picture due to the crazy rain (3+ inches). Hope to post pictures tomorrow.

Oh no Paul -- after you took so much time to have a close look.....................

I'm envious of all of you having reblooms this Fall. This is the first year that Feedback has failed me -- once again, I think all the rain is the culprit. Champagne Elegance is supposed to be a rebloomer -- but has never done so for me.

Oh well -- I'll look forward to Spring -- it'll be wonderful with all the new varieties that I added this year.

On a sadder note -- I almost lost Art House!!! Found the leaf cluster laying on the ground, and the rhizome soft and mushy. I dug it up, cut away the rotted part, soaked it in bleach water and let it dry out. Now I'm ready to replant -- and pray that it decides to live. It was my favorite new Iris this past Spring.

It really is a gorgeous Iris!!

I haven't seen Art House for 2 summers, I'm hoping mine has recovered enough to bloom next spring.

ooo, oooo, oooooo! I HAVE to get Midsummer Night's Dream!

My Twiggy is putting up a bloom stalk.Maybe November before I see anything.

I've been watching mine, JoAnn, and hoping! Twiggy and Zee are supposed to be real good at re-bloom, and I planted them both, last year, so we'll see! So far I've had Forever Blue, Baby Blessed, Purple Joy, Perfume Counter, Total Recall, Love Goes On, Double You Fun, Immortality, Earl Of Essex , and September Replay. There are stalks starting On Halloween Night, Harvest Of Memories, and Clarence. It's been a very good re-bloom season !...Arlyn ...OOPS!, I forgot Eleanor Roosevelt !
