I can't pick a favorite, they're all so pretty. Fred, yours is enormous. I don't have a lot of spiders. Spider Miracle was my first, but the bloom is so heavy the scape falls over. I think Lilting Belle is my favorite because of it's long bloom time and is very prolific in my garden. It doesn't get so tall and doesn't fall over. It was still blooming in mid August when I took this picture. I have Wilson Spider also, but it's in a bad spot and I don't get very many blooms. I must remember to move it this spring. Rainbow Spangles and Peacock Maiden are my other spiders.

Is this concidered a spider? Can anyone tell me the name. It was here when we bought the house 10 years ago. I really love it, it seems to bloom for quite some time.

Your yellow one looks like it could be Bonanza. As far as if the red is a spider, the petals and sepals have to be measured. I believe they have to be at least a 4 to 1 ratio between petals and sepals to be considered a spider. If not it is a ufo (unusual form). Anyone else want to chime in on that.
