Oh! Some sweet

must have let someone know and it's cleared with admin ... the parties are on! Well ... on July 1st that is. Thumbs up

There will be a link on the main page to invite peeps from all of ATP and the forums to the joyful Sandbox celebration of ATP's anniversary (true date is July 4, but to avoid having people try to surf with BBQ sauce on their fingers it is celebrated on the 1st).

And, we can also gather here to share in the joy that Glen is the one someone, somewhere in the world, who can see daylilies bloom all year round!

So, get your Haiku Hats on ... those wonderful bursts of 1-3-ish database plant-code pictures that paint a Rhebus post card sentiment will be welcome on that day! Hurray! I'm not sure, but I think if there are some who find it hard to Rhebus Plant-Paint ... maybe some really sweet, heartfelt Stick Figure Gallery cards (like on the OT thread) might be okay too ... and, as always, warm words of remembrance, celebration, and congratulations are always very ...
Group hug !!!

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing . You know I haven't been able to find a hosta at a local mainland nursery. A young kid gave me a lecture at one place from what he had read on the web about them being inappropriate for our climate! One place hadn't even heard of them. I will have to use the net. Lol.

Thumbs up as long as they don't cost an arm and a leg ... I went through more "inappropriate" plants on my way to finding "survivable" daylilies. Always fun to try things out and find surprising new plants that can adjust, though. Group hug

Thanks, by the way, for letting us frolic in your thread ... now and on 365-day!

'Mary Ethel Anderson' today. It is not opening right out because of all the winter shade. This is the end of the cultivar for this season. 288 days including reblooming. 8/10/13-30/6/14. There was one more bud there but it vanished in the night.

The scapes of 'Spacecoast Ruffles' and 'High Endeavour' are doing fine. As suspected the 'Stella Bella' scape had been eaten through. An update on them for tomorrow morning, the dawning of July.

To Glen and Friends,

I believe it is now the

of Glen's maintaining a daylily estate that has seen consistent daylily blooming from July 2013 to today!

May our warmest

follow here to gladden his heart with thanks for his accomplishment - we appreciate being able to enjoy the blooms that appear on ATP all year 'round! Group hug
