It's almost nice out here. Not the frigid cold that I'm used to. It's been raining a little, and it's foggy, so not yard work weather for me. Mark is going out to do battle with a huge wild blackberry bush. We're convinced that one of our property markers is in the middle of it. I hope he finds it! I'm staying inside with the dogs!

Doing Shorty's and girl-child's laundry. Couldn't stand walking through the piles any longer.

69 and sunny out. I swear I was on the verge of breaking out in a sweat a few minutes ago while working in the yard.

Nearly 70 here, too. Which might be part of why I was so generously inclined--get to hang MY duvet covers and such that she has been using out on the line for that lovely, lovely air-dried fragrance.

Crushed up a couple dozen eggshells that have been drying out on the porch in between loads and boy-child's naps.

What did you do with the crushed eggshells?

They are accumulating in a bucket for springtime snail protection.

I'm going to sound like the biggest wimp whiner in the world considering the weather most of you have to deal with but I haven't managed to get warm all day. Chilled, especially hands & feet. Woke to the low 50's & grey drizzly skies. It's been that way all day with the temp. steady. It's DAMP ya know? Another day of the same tomorrow but at least the night will go down to 30 which will dry that air out & take the chill out of my bones.

Wimpy, Ann, wimpy. But I know what you mean about those cloudy damp days.

I was talking to my daughter earlier and she told me that by Tuesday night, we are supposed to have a low of 8 below zero. We haven't had a cold winter like this is a very long time. Gosh, I am not going to want to go out of the house.

I am a wuss. I have a small electric heater blowing when I am on the computer. It is just the ticket when you are just sitting around.

@flaflwrgrl, Ann, I thought you were soaking in your hot tub? I figured you would be full throttle with that circulation by now!

I'm going right now & straight from there to snuggle up in the warm bed where my 2 legged hot water bottle can keep me warm.
