Hi Lisa and welcome Lisa's friend whenever you arrive!!
Lynn/Chris et al, it is the same dimensions of my other one...the base being one of those metal kitchen/pantry shelves that are on rollers. These ones are 4 feet by 1.5feet. I don't know why the photos are gigantic - actually makes it harder to see the size. I realized I need to do a bit more wiring, I'm going to make some shelves, in between the slate using hardware mesh. Then the plants will sit on those. I have to root them laying down (about a month) and then take a week or so to slowly stand it up to 90 degrees and it'll hang no the wall that it is in front of currently...Lynn I'd love shade plants My whole back area is shady!!

Greg, we will take a tour around the shade areas when you come in May. I have lots of hardy cyclamen and much more.

No Lynn, I've nt heard from Pia for ages, the floods in her part of the country made me wonder how she was doing.

It's pouring down again today, but fortunately the winds have died down. We had a dry day yesterday so I managed to repair the damage to my shed roof; at least Ive patched the section that blew away, it'll need to be completely refelted at some point but I'm hoping it'll hold up until the Summer when it's dry enough to do a proper job.
I checked on my semps yesterday too - I removed more mush than there is healthy semp left in the pots. They are in a very sorry state to put it mildly. I hope they'll hang in there until the weather breaks

Kate, can you move the containers to shelter? like a roof that will keep the rain from the containers?

Yes, hope they do hang in there Kate!! Stay dry!

Good luck Kate!! I found that if I could provide any protection from the rain, it made a difference for my younger semps especially!
