I am sure they did. Commonly have multiple blooms on each stem.

Newyorkrita,
Do they normally have multiple blooms the first year or two, or does it take them a while to built up to multiple blooms?

Love the blue color of Harmony Rita. Keep those beautiful pictures coming.

We hit 84 degrees here today, it seem ridiculously hot to me. The tulips are looking crazy, not liking the heat, and more N. Tripartite popped open blooms very quickly. I also found my SBD iris Stitch Witch with an open bloom, and was quite surprised. My Galanthus are also starting to bloom.

Annette - while your temperatures shot up to 84 degrees, ours dropped to 60 degrees. At this rate, all the extra plant growth from the warm 70's of two weeks ago is going to be nullified by cold spell.

I think this is an ixia. I can't keep the two straight - ixias and Sparaxis

Annette and Diane, lovely blooms.

I have sooooooooo many crocus and lots of them blooming but it is cloudy today with no hope of sun. So all my crocus are closed up. I want them to open so I can enjoy those blooms!

I Never force bulbs. I am hopeless at it and I don't have an extra fridge. Then you see the pots of forced bulbs in the nurseries and they look so pretty. But me, I wait until things show up in my garden outside.

I have Early Sensation daffs in back of some tulips here in my trellis garden. Those Early Sensation usually bloom mid March and they are only just about to open now.

NICE Rita!

I have a single row along the path in my tiny front yard.
I have resolved to mark "empty" spaces this year and add more.
It's so wonderful to see them happen early!
