I agree on great shots. Personally, I walk around with nail clippers and remove the spines where they can hurt people walking by....

Yes, great idea using clippers; I use scissors and notice that the barb can shoot across the room and hit an un-suspecting husband... Crying

Those spines do look dangerous! Just got an order from Santa Rosa Gardens today and I think tarev was right about my vining plant being a Sedum sieboldii. I forgot I had ordered one from Santa Rosa and it sure does look the same. Label says it's only hardy to zone 6. Not sure why I ordered it. Guess that will be another one to bring in overwinter. I may just have to move out and give all the house over to the plants.

Well, yesterday
In the morning was cloudy. But later was alternate sun and clouds and more sun in afternoon. Only one flower was open:

Yes Planto it is a happy plant, just I think it is a little too much for it and probably will not have the power to open well all the flowers bud.
But no matter, it's in the first flowering. Smiling
Last year in April was just a little pad, around 1 - 1.5 inch. I think it's exactly a year since I put it to root. I am sure this was around 25 April, 2013. But it grew very fast. To July 31, 2013 it was so

(I think I don't have a photo more from it's beginning.)
And this is a flower of her mother, taken exactly on 21 April, 2013 Smiling :

Justin,
Even if it only opens half of those flowers, you'll still have quite the show.

I love all these pictures! I have a major soft spot for succulents and cacti. These are mine, sorry, I don't have any real names.

I'll try to get a picture of my 2 cacti. I purchased them at Lowes, or Home Depot sometime before moving to NY, so 4-5 years ago. They have been great growers for me. I recently had to repot them because they were getting too tall and too top heavy. I have not been able to get them to bloom yet.

This is my itty bitty Jade plant that I picked up at the local farm market / nursery a few weeks ago.
